I keep forgetting about DA's new submission page and it scares me every time. O_O
This is a (week late) picture for my dear friend *OhSadface's birthday! It took me awhile to figure out what the heck I was gonna draw, but after staring at her art for a long time in a totally not-creepy way I decided on her zombie pin up lady, Mozzie! Subject matter we both enjoy.

Ended up going with a traditional tattoo flash sorta look because I’ve been looking at a lot of that lately and it rubbed off. So anyway Sads, once again happy birthday from your crap-face ex-roommate! <3

I wonder if you're enjoying
the curvature of her back.
The spine, a row of ossified crowns
crowded and curved around that defining neural superhighway;
that extension cord,
adventurously connecting the visceral
to the peripheral.
The horseshoe crab vertebrae
scuttle to break through skin at your touch;
reach out,
a defining shiver.
I see your hands
around the rounded hills of her shoulders.
Scapulae jutting out with the extremity of the bend,
ungraceful,
like a chicken's wings.

stand up like wings,
